Jestico + Whiles to remodel Sir John Soane's Manor House masterpiece

A team led by Jestico + Whiles and including conservation architects Julian Harrap Architects has secured Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) support to remodel Pitzhanger Manor House – a nationally recognised Grade-I listed building designed by Sir John Soane. HLF has awarded Ealing Council an initial 275k development grant, which will enable it to work up proposals towards securing a full grant of £3.6 million at a later date. Jestico + Whiles’ design for the site will transform the Manor House and surrounding 12-hectare Walpole Park, whilst sensitively restoring all the original features in an ambition to reinstate the rich heritage of the structure and reunite Sir John Soane’s work with the original Regency landscape it sits within.
