We are an employee-owned international architecture and interior design practice based in London and Prague. Our talented team of over 100 people has completed major projects throughout the UK and across the world.
We have proven expertise in excellent, sustainable design across a wide range of sectors: housing, hotels, education, offices, retail, research, transport, and cultural facilities.
Many of these are within schemes involving major urban regeneration, refurbishment of historic buildings or low energy designs.
Whether the project is big or small, old or new, home or away, the diversity of our experience brings a natural richness to our work.
Origins
Established as a design-led studio 40 years ago the practice has remained true to its core values of humanity and sustainability during a period of steady growth to over 100 strong today. As one of the first architectural practices to form an employee owned trust we have always been at the forefront of working practice innovation and employee well-being.
Studio
Our creative hub is in the heart of Clerkenwell, one of London’s most vibrant districts. A sister office in historic Prague delivers the same service and ethos in a seamless way. Our workplace is designed to promote collaborative and innovative ways of working in a flexible and inspiring grouping of studios which envelope a shared communal space – our town square.
We make, we create, we model and we share common values, openly discussing all aspects of the creative process. We will champion creativity in all its forms and welcome constructive critique from all quarters to ensure we achieve the highest standards possible. We eschew any kind of prejudice and encourage open and informed debate to deliver the very best for all our clients and partners. Mentoring
Jestico + Whiles places great emphasis on continual development and improvement. We support and actively promote mentoring within the practice to allow everyone to develop to their full potential.
We engage with universities, accommodate part-time learning and enable and encourage work experience placements to introduce the next generation to the importance of our shared environment.
Our regular Practice Half Days provide a platform for experimentation, interaction and lateral thinking.
