Open Kitchen
Open Kitchen is a new bar and restaurant for the London City Hospitality Centre and is part of a partnership initiative between Hackney Community College, the London Development Agency, and the Worshipful Company of Cooks and Employers. The practice has created an exciting and stylish space in a refurbished and rebranded building, with bold fresh graphics and clean crisp finishes. The design has opened up the existing space to allow uninterrupted views inside the restaurant and kitchen area, and has enhanced views to the rear terrace and courtyard. New large windows with attractive illustrations bring life to the external elevation. All graphics for the restaurant have been designed by the practice, including bespoke wallpaper to the bar and walls, window graphics and menus.
