'A Home for Me' – Workshops Organised by Open City and Jestico + Whiles

17.12.2019

As part of a new Open City 'Architecture in School' programme, we organised a series of five workshops for kids with special educational needs and disabilities, along the theme of 'A Home for Me.'

The programme aims to inspire the next generation of city-shapers and for participants to understand how architecture informs the world around us.

Alongside with an artist and a musician, our architects helped children to explore different textures, shapes and colours, and created sculptures and paintings that were presented at the celebration event at Woodlands School.

Architecture in Schools is a creative learning programme for Key Stage Two primary school pupils sponsored by and delivered in partnership with the Canary Wharf Group.
