4 years after restoration works completed, we returned to Pitzhanger Manor for a spring evening with New London Architecture.
Director Jude Harris, alongside Lydia Allain Chapman (NLA) and Howell James CBE (Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery Trust) introduced the evening, before groups set out on tours with Julian Harrap Architects and decorative painter Alasdair Peebles to explore the rich history of Soane and his life in Ealing.
It was great to show people around Soane’s masterpiece and see contemporary exhibitions such as Anthony Caro extending into the House, working exactly as intended.
