We are delighted to announce that Jestico + Whiles has been appointed alongside a collaborative team, to co-design 1,750 new homes in Canning Town for London Borough of Newham.
The team includes ArchitectureDoingPlace led by David Ogunmuyiwa, Deft Space led by Shade Abdul, engineering firm Buro Happold, masterplanning specialist AR Urbanism led by Amanda Reynolds, landscape architect AS URBAN led by Alexandra Steed & regeneration specialist Urban Delivery led by Simon Davis.
The proposals will be designed with estate residents through a collaborative programme of engagement, with the development expected to deliver new affordable homes, community spaces, extensive public realm and landscaping, and improved links to the wider area.
