Council gives planning for home scheme by Jestico + Whiles on north London borough’s Caledonian Road

09.02.2015

The scheme for Telford Homes will include 56 social rented houses and will be built on a derelict site next to the East Coast Main Line railway. It will feature seven new residential buildings, ranging from three to six storeys in height.

The site was bought up in the 1990s to allow construction of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in to St Pancras and had been infested with Japanese Knotweed which has now been ripped out. In its place will be planted nearly 2,500 new trees and shrubs which will form part of a nature trail to be used by local schools.
