Heinz Richardson takes part in a think-tank on Schools organised by the NLA

Our director Heinz Richardson took part in a NLA London think-tank around how we deliver more and better quality schools for London. The event gathered a group of experts and practitioners who discussed budget issues, procurement routes as well as site constraints and innovation.

At the event, Heinz noted that better quality that "the profession had built up such skill, passion and commitment to the sector. Thus, the situation with squeezed budgets and programmes is disheartening." He continued by stating that "by contrast, the work done during the Academy programme had showed how the profession has the passion and skills, but the process now – including the ‘brutal’ position working for contractors – has to be changed, with more joined-up thinking at the front end."
