'The AJ100 studio defeated a raft of unnamed rivals to masterplan the prestigious expansion project. Planned to start on site next year, the scheme will regenerate the school’s 3.6 hectare site which is located in the Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos area of central Muscat.
The practice is currently working on the concept design for the first phase which will create a new sports centre featuring a 25 metre-long swimming pool, 12 sports courts and an artificial football pitch. A 700-seat auditorium, central dining hall, sixth form centre and new science accommodation will also be delivered.'
