LDF 2017: Architectural installation collaboration with Heal's

01.09.2017

We are delighted to have worked with Heal's on an architectural installation at their flagship store to celebrate this year's London Design Festival. Inspiration for the installation came directly from Heal’s AW17 collections and the individual designers the store is currently working with.

Alex Gordon, Associate Director at Jestico + Whiles said: ‘’This has been a fantastic opportunity for Jestico + Whiles to work with such an established yet contemporary British brand. We’re really looking forward to seeing the installation in full swing during London Design Festival and to witness how both visitors to the store, and passers-by, will interact with it.’’

Ruth Cotterell, Head of Marketing at Heal’s said: “Heal’s is delighted to be part of this year’s exciting LDF line-up. As part of our ongoing commitment to innovative and inspiring design we have teamed up with Jestico + Whiles to create an eye-catching installation that will be a key part of Heal’s annual LDF celebrations.”

The colour palette is directly influenced by two of Heal’s key AW17 collections; the Opulence range and the Nordic Comfort range. Opulence features sumptuous, rich colours and materials including velvets in deep green, teal and gold, whilst the Nordic Comfort features softer natural colours, pale woods and tactile fabrics. Heal’s worked closely with Jestico + Whiles to select a range of six colours including dusky pink, aubergine, royal blue, teal, forest green and honey which bring together the essence of these two collections.

The installation opens from 16 September for London Design Festival and will run until 24 September.
