Rhys Jones, one of our architects, had his Rope House shortlisted for the AJ Small Projects awards, and featured on the cover of the Architects' Journal in February. The temporary structure was designed as part of his work tutoring at Canterbury School of Architecture, with colleague Matt Shaw, and built with student help for the Secret Garden Party festival last summer. It was constructed from no less than five kilometres of rope precisely wound around a Kee Klamp frame.
