Jestico + Whiles has an opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to cover maternity leave in London.

We are always keen to meet talented individuals interested in joining our practice and are currently seeking an experienced marketing and communications coordinator to provide maternity cover for this key practice role. This is a rich and varied role in which good written, spoken and graphic communication skills are essential, alongside experience of managing social media channels, preparing awards submissions (using InDesign) and event planning. Experience of liaison with an external PR consultant an advantage. Candidates must be completely fluent in both written and spoken English.

Job purpose:
- To raise the profile of the practice and convey its ‘spirit’ and brand through publicity and marketing material
- to support the practice’s marketing efforts in creating new business opportunities and securing new projects
- to provide necessary graphic and documentary support in the preparation of external material

Job description:

- Work collaboratively and supportively in pursuit of raising public profile and helping to secure new business
- identify and develop opportunities to improve the practice’s industry presence, brand and success
- maintain quality of marketing material and brand standards
- prepare draft quarterly marketing and PR strategy with PR agency; monitor results and report
- coordinate with external PR agency, client and internal project teams for press releases
- prepare appropriate PR material, including submission of awards, material for publication in books and magazines, and bespoke marketing material
- maintain press cuttings archive and PR noticeboard (digital archive)
- prepare the periodic electronic newsletter (quarterly) and targeted sector mailshots
- maintain and regularly update material on the Image Library (Open Asset) for all projects
- maintain and update the practice website, including liaison with the web design consultancy
- regularly input and update project information on the practice intranet
- attendance at out of hours networking events, acting as ambassador for the practice
- manage and optimise social media presence from a business perspective
- organise photography of completed projects and significant in-progress projects where required
- actively support project architects in documenting all projects at completion
- assist with the analysis of market trends, sector coverage and new business enquiries at least quarterly
- promote the Company at all times across all media in the interest of securing new business opportunities
- creative, graphic and organisation skills
- experience working with CRM databases to make direct contact with prospective client base
- competency in presentation software used across the practice (Affinity)
- an in-depth knowledge of office systems and software (including web-based) used across the practice
- good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and effectively as part of team
- networking skills and ability to engage with the wider industry including clients at a senior level
- in-depth knowledge and use of social media platforms to pro-actively promote the practice
- time management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
