Jestico + Whiles is a friendly design orientated Architecture and Interior Design practice of 100 people based in Clerkenwell. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team to run our ‘front of house’.
Your role at Jestico + Whiles will be at the very heart of our studio — you will be the first point of contact for all clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, visitors and colleagues in person and via the telephone. Potential candidates should be confident with excellent communication and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ordering couriers, all incoming and outgoing mail, setting up meeting rooms, stock checks and ordering kitchen, paper and stationery supplies.
Additionally, you will be called upon to help with admin tasks, including:
— Updating and maintaining project and contact information on the company’s database
— Filing documents and emails in Newforma
— Administering project extranets, including uploading, downloading, recording, distributing and organising information as required
— Dispatching correspondence, drawings, reports and other material as appropriate
— Printing and binding documents, reports, submissions etc.
— Assisting with arranging office functions, events, exhibitions and excursions
— Organising travel arrangements for colleagues and logging information
This is an extremely busy and varied role. The successful candidate must be friendly and proactive with the ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
