Ben Marston

Ben joined Jestico + Whiles in 1997 and became a director in 2014.

An award-winning architect, Ben co-leads the practice’s work in education and workplace design. He also has expertise in housing, retail and special projects.

Ben led the Jestico + Whiles team which won the HCA competition for the Tower Works site in Leeds, an £80m mixed-use regeneration project, and was also responsible for the practice’s acclaimed office building 10 Portman Square. Ben has designed many of the practices’ UK school buildings including the celebrated Passmores Academy, and overseas has led the initial development of the practice’s competition-winning designs for Doha College and British School Muscat.

He has management responsibility for communications and IT.

Ben graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with First Class honours and won a scholarship to the Architectural Association in London.
