Emily joined Jestico + Whiles in 2004 and became an associate in 2014.
She has led teams and worked on a wide range of projects including retail, education and housing. Some of the latest key residential projects include the RIBA Housing award-winning Cable & Roper building for Knight Dragon Developments, Grahame Park for Countryside Properties and Genesis Housing Association, working collaboratively with Peter Barber Architects and Studio 54 Architecture.
She has also worked on Bartlett Park, a mixed tenure scheme with community facilities, café and waterside centre for Telford Homes Plc, East Thames Housing Group and Poplar HARCA. Previously, Emily was project architect for the award-winning Clapton Girls’ Academy and an integral part of the team for the £20m refurbishment of the prestigious department store Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly.
Emily is co-responsible for the women’s forum within the practice, a support network to promote and encourage diversity and inclusivity. She also organises Practice Half Days as part of the office training programme.
