James Tatham
Director

 

James joined Jestico + Whiles in 1997 and became a director in 2014.

He is currently co-leading the practice's education portfolio and has a particular specialism in designing schools for children with special educational needs. James has delivered a variety of education projects including free schools and academies.

James is currently involved in the Shared Facilities Hub for the University of Cambridge. This consists of a bar, café, library and teaching space where students from colleges within the university can come together to socialise and learn.

In addition, James works with the British Council and has recently completed their new headquarters building in Colombo, Sri Lanka. James has worked across a variety of sectors including residential, education and retail. Completed projects include the refurbishment of Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly and Glen Eyre Halls of Residence for the University of Southampton.

James is also responsible for managing the practice’s London office.
