Andel's Lodz / Jestico Whiles

Andel’s Lodz is the fourth hotel of the highly successful Andel’s chain of hotels by Jestico + Whiles. Located in Lodz, Poland, the hotel is set in an elegant red brick and cast iron former Victorian textile factory of the renowned industrialist Izrael Poznanski. The hotel consists of 180 bedrooms, 80 apartments, a large atrium, a bar, café and restaurant, a business centre and a 600 capacity grand conference room.

The design carefully combines a fresh contemporary style with existing vaulted ceilings, brick walls and cast iron frame to create a unique and inspiring hotel.

The colours, textiles, art, sculptural features and furniture are conceived as contemporary interventions within the historic structure, transforming the factory into a beautiful gallery-like hotel providing a lively and luxurious environment. The quality and style of materials within the main public areas are carried through into all the bedrooms with dark stained oak furniture and light, minimal colours.
