Jestico + Whiles worked closely with the client on the concept of Gordon Street Coffee. The venue, located next to the main entrance of Glasgow Central Station, offers fresh coffee, sweet and savoury treats displayed in grab-and-go display cabinets as well as cheeky schooners of Pilsner and Prosecco on tap. The coffee is prepared on site in a huge roaster to the delight of customers who can also buy “The Glasgow Roast”.
The visual identity studio created the logo, uniform, signage and packaging for Gordon Street Coffee. The branding showcases a logo stamped on a striking aquamarine backdrop on take-away products.
The commuters of Glasgow Central Station enjoy the unusual coffee cups so much that they have taken to posting photos of them on social media from various locations around the city.
The uniforms are made of denim shirts stamped with a distressed logo, achieving a casual look complementing the laid-back atmosphere of the venue.
