Jestico + Whiles was appointed by Gordon Campbell-Gray as his architects and interior architects for the conversion of the old Morning Post offices into a new five star hotel.
The Grade II listed building houses a 105-bed hotel, award-winning bars, restaurant, cinema and health spa.
The main entrance to the building has been re-established at the centre of the Aldywch façade, which leads to the double-height lobby bar.
The reception is deliberately concealed, with the sense of space accentuated by white stone floor and white walls.
Each bedroom design is unique, embraced in a common language of stone, glass and steel, animated by sweeping curved partitions.
