The five-storey, chalet-style hotel was built in 1905 in the unusual ‘Gustavian’ style – a Swedish twist on French Neoclassicism – and its facades have been lovingly restored to their former glory by local artisans. With a focus on timeless luxury and taking inspiration from the breathtaking surrounding scensery, we refurbished the hotel to create the most sought-after retreat in this region.

The now world-famous infinity pool is truly unique, perched on the mountainside at 900ft above sea level, with unobstructed panoramic views to snow-capped peaks and the lake below. This extraordinary pool is designed to reflect the ever-changing Swiss sky, while its surrounding terrace captures the sun’s rays throughout the year. The hotel restaurant offers equally stunning views paired with fine dining.

Inside, rich timber and stone are combined with natural-toned silk and leather to create a comfortable, contemporary environment, complemented by hand‐crafted furniture. Every finish has been carefully chosen for its inviting appearance and texture, grain, pile and weave, to provide a tactile quality to each surface.

Once a summer-only hotel, and later a film set, Villa Honegg is now a year-round offering an experience of luxurious escapism for all seasons.
